HOME WATCH: This is one safety measure that shouldn't be ignored. • Going on vacation? • Only visit on weekends? The last thing you need when you own a second property or return from vacation is to find out that the basement flooded and your insurance company won't honour the claim. Most insurance companies will not cover a claim if the home is left unoccupied for longer than 4 days or 96 consecutive hours. Is that a risk you're comfortable taking?? Our home concierge service will schedule your property and home watch as often as required by your insurance company to ensure your peace of mind. We schedule our visits at different times of the day for security purposes. Basic home watch security package: •Check that all your windows and exterior doors are secured. •Thermostat check •Check the hot water tank, sump pump and basement for leakage • Water plants, if necessary. •Remove any flyers, newspapers or mail left outdoors. •Be the ‘on-call’ contact for neighbours or Security Alarm Company in case of any emergency. •Contact you immediately by text or e-mail if anything is amiss along with digital pictures if damage or vandalism occurs. •Take care of anything else you can think of…just give us a call or text. •We record the date and time attended.
