I have lived a healing journey and am dedicated to offering healing to others through yoga, nutrition, shiatsu, mindfulness and self love.
My classes are safe, deep, detailed and compassionate, a space of welcome and trust where students begin to relax into themselves. My teaching rests on detailed alignment, intelligent adjustments, freedom of breath, settling the nervous system and mindful awareness. Teaching from both the Iyengar and Ashtanga traditions, students move into the safety and stability of each pose, opening their practise to new levels. Combining meditation and mindfulness into each class, inner healing and transformation is often experienced.
I teach Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative and Therapeutic yoga, and approach yoga as a moment to be with oneself with whatever arises. This practice of loving kindness combined with a sensitive, deep, detailed approach to yoga postures creates a platform for an honest and safe yoga practice to evolve.
I love teaching yoga and feel that it is part of my gift in this life; sharing what I have learned to help others open and heal their body, mind and heart. I studied for four years with my teacher Hart Lazer, who is an incredible teacher of great depth and insight. I have also studied with his teacher Ramanand Patel who is considered a top student of B.K.S. Iyengar. I have been teaching approximately 12 yoga classes per week since 2009 in both Montreal and Mexico.
