Hi there, I'm a single mom and I have a disability which prevents me from working, especially a full time job. I never know if I'm going to have good days or bad. Working my Scentsy business has alleviated that pressure on me. I'm still on disability but, I'm able to support my own Scentsy addiction.
I would go with my friend to visit her mom and her place always smelled incredible!! She had gone to a Scentsy party, bought herself the Jane warmer and some incredible scents!! I had never heard of Scentsy but I knew I liked what I was seeing and smelling! I was buying perogies off of a local lady that I found on Facebook, one day she added me to her new group, she was selling that Scentsy stuff!! I thought to myself, treat yourself! You've wanted one for so long! I always loved scented candles, the fragrances were incredible. But, my poor kitty went up to one and singed her whiskers!! I became extra cautious of them and whenever lighting them kept an extremely close eye on my kitties. This became stressful and I wasn't enjoying my scented candles as often anymore. Then my baby started crawling and pulling himself up, well that was it... no more candles for me! I was always worried when someone came to visit, can they smell the litter box? Can they smell the dirty diaper I just changed? The timing was perfect, I needed one of those Scentsy things!! I glanced through her website, I picked the Blue Diamond warmer and six bars. Oh my goodness when they were delivered I was in love! I found myself buying new scents monthly (or less). Then I purchased a nightlight for my bathroom & the Ribbons of Hope warmer (my mom passed away from breast cancer). I started purchasing warmers, nightlights, wax and putting them away for friends & family members for Christmas. Yup, everyone got Scentsy for Christmas. They all asked me if I was selling Scentsy, I hadn't even given that a thought. I just wanted to share my love of Scentsy with family & friends. Everyone I bought warmers for are going to need more wax, so why not, I should join and make the commission for myself! So I did, I joined!! Friends are buying for themselves and family members and referring people to me. It's been awesome! I've done some craft shows, but mostly friends adding friends to my Facebook page has made my clientele grow. I'm really enjoying selling Scentsy products and meeting new people.
