Hi there, I'm James! If your looking for a math or physics tutor for yourself or your son or daughter, than you've found the right dude!
SERVICES OFFERED: I offer math and/or physics tutoring sessions, as well as online homework help (via email and skype) for students in grades 8 or higher (up to and including first year university) for anyone in Ottawa or the surrounding areas such as Gatineau, Kanata, Greely, Nepean, Orleans and Cumberland. PRICING: IN-HOME (I come to your house, or location of your choosing): FIRST 60 MINS: fee is $30 - $45 (depends on driving distance) For session lasting longer than an hour, the price drops to $20 per hour after the first 60 minutes. For example, a two hour session might cost $55 ($35 for the first hour and then $20 for the 2nd hour). My RESIDENCE (you come to me), or Skype: $20 per hour SKYPE: $20 per hour MOTIVATION I promise that I won't be a boring! I know some students hate getting tutored even more so than going to Sunday school, however if you or your child falls into this category, I know that I can make it more fun for them with my interesting stories and tales about interesting science and math discoveries and problems! ABOUT ME: I'm a 29 year old gov't dude. My Monday to Friday 9-5 job is at Revenue Canada (CRA). However I've worked as a professional tutor for TutorDoctor and for Mathnasium in the past. In anycase, this tutoring job is definitely my "therapy"! I love working with people, love tutoring and love teaching and storytelling! Yes I'm also an amateur storyteller (good tool to use to pass the time, whenever there is an extra 5-10 minutes to kill in the hour!). If the CRA didn't take up so much of my time and energy, I'd probably get a second degree as a life coach, since I definitely feel like a Tony Robbins to a few of my clients!
