I provide approved home childcare through the Parry Sound Social Services.
As an approved home provider I have a limit of six children. Out of the 6 children I can have two under the age of two. Everyone else has to be two years and up to thirteen years. I provide two healthy snacks which includes two food groups and a home cooked lunch witch includes four of the food groups. Morning snack and lunch are served with 3.25% milk. If your child is lactose intolerant I ask that you provide what he/she can drink unless it's water. I spend a minimum of two hours a day outside weather permitting. Although I stay outside as much as I can. I have a shaded patio as well as a car port to stay cool on hot days and the children can enjoy riding bikes, ride on toys or hopscotch in the car port. As well as a big deck that children can play on. I have a nice yard with natural boundaries and some trails to go for a walk to enjoy all that nature has to offer. I have many toys for children of all ages. We play many games such as: hide and seek, soccer and Simon says. We do many of art & crafts, science experiments as well as baking are all part of the curriculum provided. I support free play to encourage children to use their imagination. I observe and take my cues from the children and plan my activities based on their interests. Contact me today for more information.
