Hot Rods Auto Cafe
2003 Alma St N,Business details
Description
I expected to find a place called The Hot Rod Cafe' to have an automotive theme and that is exactly what I found. When you walk in to door and hear the 50's and 60's music playing in the background you feel like you have gone back in time.
They offer a full menu of burgers, fries, homemade soups, sandwiches and much more. Each day they offer a daily feature, such as Philly Cheese Steak, Cabbage Rolls, Fish and Chips ..the list is endless. A must try is their own spicy mayonnaise that they call Hot Rod Sauce. They says it goes with everything except fruit and desserts. So when you come in add a little spice to your life and try it out!
“Pam who operates the new restaurant with her sister who goes by the NICK Name 'Dude' claim that you won't go away feeling unwelcome or hungry at The Hot Rod Cafe' but you will leave with a belly full of good homemade cooking and a sense of fun from the theme of the place.
The eatery opened in what was once a service shop. The cherry-red interior is draped with checkered table clothes and curtains. The seating arrangement's are quaint and close so everyone feels like family and part of the Hot Rod Gang when eating here.
Pam & Dude have close ties to this community offering to help those in need whenever possible and contributing to the local food banks. Donations can be dropped off and will be picked up by the food banks on a regular schedule. Pam Says we'll even except Cash and check donations to the food bank and convey them accordingly.
