My passion for the healing arts began 25 years ago, when I was hired as advisor for the prestigious Banff School of Fine Arts. Inspiring and nurturing the creative soul of many brilliant people was a truly fulfilling experience. What awakened for me at that time was a deep commitment to service and mentorship – a dedication to support health and wellness through the awakening of heart. What exploded in my awareness during those formative years of guiding individuals in their creative process, is that we all have a spiritual component that emerges when expression is freely allowed. This moved me to wonder, what tools, what techniques can be used to support healing and spiritual emergence? How to enhance our connection with the greater whole and greater good. From this impulse I’ve been driven to study and practice extensively within the areas of personal development . For many years I taught psychic development, energetic and emotional healing. My studies in spiritual development led me to look at the practical applications in other commonly know traditions such as Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism and Shamanism. My delight with mentoring individuals continues to flourish. With 20 years in private practice: counselling, coaching , healing, and psychicly reading - clients are delighted and amazed that deep rooted symptoms of distress, anxiety and pain can be eased effortlessly. At Fires of Compassion practical spiritual development matters. We offer specialty programs that guide you towards a resource based and spirit filled life. Whether you face a life transition, or the challenges of professional caregiving, private sessions and trainings combine ancient healing methods that are easy to learn and simple to use.
