I am a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor, a Registered Hypnotherapist, and hold undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Business. I first began counselling while I was completing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Victoria, working as a lay counsellor and later a street social worker. I spent three years of intense experiential counsellor training at the Clearmind International Institute and have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and Hypnotherapy. I have experience working with individuals and couples, facilitating group counselling sessions, mentoring business executives, and have assisted teaching a counselling program. I’ve also done extensive personal work, such as you are considering now, believing in the philosophy of healing myself first before approaching healing others.
