Over the years we have seen an increasing demand for paralegals within our own community.
We have had repeated request from family and friends to assist them in various areas of law simply because they could not afford legal services therefore; we both decided to enroll in the two year paralegal program at Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning. Over the past 10 years we have provided assistance in obtaining successful outcomes in Short-term disability benefit claims, Long-term disability benefit claims, Workplace Safety and Insurance benefit claims, Canada Pension plan Disability benefit claims, disability tax credits, drafting and filing of Articles of Incorporation, drafting and filing of Human Rights applications, drafting and filing Small Claims Court matters, assisting in Provincial court matters particularly Highway Traffic Act offences, and drafting and filing legal documents to petition the courts both in Canada and the United States to open sealed records; particularly adoption records. Since we both successfully completed our program with high honors we have decided to launch our own legal practice because we know first- hand that there is a growing demand for these types of services we will be offering throughout Ontario.
