Dr. Gihad Shabib started his career in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 1980. Since then he has worked in Egypt (4 years), Saudi Arabia (2 years), England (9 years) & Canada (10 years). During his 25 years of experience Dr. Shabib has managed all kind of Obstetrical & Gynaecological clinical and surgical situations. Now he is enjoying teaching these clinical & surgical skills to University of Ottawa Residents to prepare them to start their own independent practice. In addition to his busy practice, Dr. Shabib is committed to the research and the advancement of his specialty.

Dr. Shabib is highly recommended. He looked after me throughout my 3 pregnancies. He is friendly and shows compassion and concern when things aren't looking right. He takes the time necessary to assess your needs. Wait time can be long (1 hour +) at times for appointments, but he's well worth it. I'll be seeing him again if other issues arise.
