Waterloo Minor Hockey is committed to creating a hockey program for youth that is fun, where participants can develop and learn the technique and skills of the game, life skills, and good sportsmanship in a safe environment.
Waterloo Minor Hockey Association was founded in 1949 to provide an organized program for the children of Waterloo. WMHA provides four levels of competitive play. Recreational Hockey (House League & Select), Minor Development, A/AA Seeded and AAA.

Having my two boys in the minor hockey program has given them something to discuss with their friends at school. Keeping them active and off the game systems was the initial reason for enrolling them in these programs. The excitement of the games at both the house league (recreation) and representative level is intense (the parents really get into it). gets your heart racing. This is the fourth year that both my boys have played within WMHA and as long as they still want to do it, I will drive them to the arenas.
