Cake Boutique has been custom-making and designing luscious cakes in the same location for 20 years now, developing a loyal following. If you are so overcome by the delicious sights and smells while you're there to pick up a cake, you can always get a cup of coffee and treat yourself to a pastry at one of the available tables. Cake designer Norbert Maushagen teaches patisserie classes at George Brown's Cooking School, and specializes in sugar art - pulling, casting and blowing to make exquisite decorations - as well as chocolate modeling and carving. You may already be familiar with Maushagen, as he has been featured on CBC News and Christine Cushing's show on Food TV. Cake Boutique delivers, and can make sugar-free treats with enough notice.
