Mr.Anjappar, the founder of this restaurant, hailed from the famous Chettinad area in the South Indian state Tamil Nadu. He introduced to the Hotel Industry, the exclusive taste of Chettinad varieties, which attracted taste hunters. The concept of outdoor catering too was launched then.
Many franchises were opened and are operating successfully in Chennai (Madras), the capital city of southern Indian state Tamil Nadu. The Anjappar group has become international in recent years and franchises were opened in Dubai, Malaysia, US and now in Canada. Anjappar franchises maintain their authentic taste and quality.

I have tried their new location in Mississauga and they make very good South Indian delicacies. Food can be very {expletive} so make sure to indicate your spice preference. Their dosas (crepe) are very good and so are the parathas.
