Do you have a dog sitting at home waiting for you to finish work, come home, and take him/her for walk the second you walk through the door? By the end of the day, do you want to come in, kick off your shoes, and not worry about if the dog has had any exercise yet today? Are you looking for someone to come in during the day, and spend 30 to 60 minutes per walk with your deserving pup, and take him/her for a walk to burn off some of that pent up energy you've been dealing with when you get home day in and day out? My name is Olivia Blonsky, and I have had approximately 4 years experience working with and walking dogs. I currently work part-time at a cage-free boarding facility in between Pakenham and Arnprior, called 'Dogs at Camp.' Here, I work with dogs and monitor their behaviour so that there are no issues whatsoever. Because the dogs are together at all times, it is adamant that my attention be given to them at all times. I know, and understand dog behaviour, and that is why I would only be walking one dog at a time (unless of course you have more than one dog that you would like me to walk at the same time) so that I could give that specific dog the undivided attention it needs, and thrives for. As a dog owner, I know the importance of keeping a happy, healthy dog. I understand that a lot of behavioural issues come from lack of exercise as well. I am a huge dog lover, and would like to work with all types of dogs to further my experience as well as provide the exercise that is necessary to each individual dog. *All walks will be on-leash unless I feel the dog has built enough of a bond with me to walk off-leash (in secure areas such as Bruce Pit) - unless of course you, as the owner, suggest the dog not be walked off-leash ever. *I will walk with any specific materials(ie. choke chains, prong collars, Martingale collars)/routines(ie. a specific area they are used to walking in) that you ask for beforehand. *If the time I come to walk your dog happens to also be the time when your dog is used to being fed, I will do so if feeding instructions are left. I will also administer medications if needed, and instructions are left.
