All you need is a prescription from your physician, and then you can leave the rest to us. We use a sleep testing device called the Remmers Recorder. Your first appointment will take approximately thirty minutes as we instruct you on the use of the Remmers Recorder. That night when you go to sleep in your own bed (not a hospital or sleep lab), you apply the three sensors from the Remmers Recorder. You awake in the morning, remove the sensors, and return the recorder to us. If your sleep test reveals that you may have OSA your Sleep Therapist will place you on a trial of Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP). Once therapy has been established, and you're experiencing the benefits of improved sleep, you will be placed on long-term therapy. Therapy is for life and is our support.
