What simply started as a search for the perfect cake is what truly sparked an idea. Being health conscious without deprivation is my main focus. With a gigantic sweet tooth, it was always unsatisfying to eat cakes that were either too sweet, too dry, or too bland knowing a good baker can always balance all the elements of a perfect creation.
In addition, having diabetics in my family helped me come up with a perfect recipe that they too can enjoy. It is important for me to create treats that everyone can enjoy without feeling guilty. After being told for years to turn my talent into a business, Sweet Fix was born. Believe it or not, I haven’t taken any classes, or had any formal pastry training. I have studied at McMaster University and obtained my degree in Sciences. I have been a chemist for 6 years, but decided to turn my passion and hobby into an opportunity. Sweet Fix Bakery is as simple as its name. Baked goodies just to get over that craving for sweets without over indulging; unless of course you want to… Our delectable cake and cupcakes are always baked fresh using the finest of ingredients.
