We believe that the world is one village; with kind and gentle hands we support one another through all of life's exciting journeys, including one of the most profound-the passage from pregnancy to holding our babies for the first time.
Birth can be an amazing and transforming event; reach out to your village to support you and to be witness to the birth of a new soul, and the birth of a parent. The word "doula" comes from the ancient Greek meaning "a woman who serves." My service to you includes: • 2 meetings (1-1 1/2 hrs each)Continuous support throughout your pregnancy by e-mail, text or telephone • On call service from 37 weeks of pregnancy • Support during your birth in the location of your choice • 1-2 hr support immediately postpartum • 2 week postpartum visit • A written account of your birth story, from your doula's perspective
