Studying an instrument is a rewarding experience, giving students an outlet for self-expression and bringing beauty into our busy lives. There are a wealth of other benefits to music study, including self-discipline, concentration, self-confidence, and responsibility.
I tailor lessons to each individual student so they may reach their fullest potential. My balanced program includes a solid background in technique, theory, sight reading and ear training with a wide variety of quality repertoire.The individual needs and interests of each student are carefully considered, and lessons are planned and music is chosen accordingly. Students are led to understand musical concepts and develop skills that will prepare them for whatever their future in music may be. I encourage my students to achieve excellence through a variety of musical experiences.Students are given numerous performance opportunities, including recitals, music festivals, public performances, performance classes and studio parties.
