We provide quality one-on-one in-home tutoring services. Our tutors are certified teachers or have a Canadian university degree with several years of tutoring experience. We know that you are busy. Therefore, your tutor will come to you. Just let us know when and we will make the arrangements. Furthermore, we keep it simple. There are no contracts, no packages and no administration fees. OUR TUTORS ASSIST WITH THESE SUBJECTS Our tutors provide assistance in the following subjects: math, physics, chemistry, biology, general science, social studies, English and Spanish. In addition, some of our tutors are specialized in IB and AP level courses. Your child’s lessons will focus on reviewing what they are learning in the classroom, assisting with their homework, answering your son or daughter’s questions and preparing them for upcoming tests. Additionally, the tutor will use your child’s homework as a platform to teach academic skills that they can apply to similar assignments. OUR TUTORS PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS All of our programs are customized to your son or daughter’s learning style and their needs. They all include a monthly report card, which details their progress and summarizes each lesson. Our Kindergarten Preparation Program teaches phonics, mathematics and printing. This will help them to enter the classroom confident and excited! We offer Academic Skill Development Programs that teach essay writing, sentence structure, creative writing, mathematical concepts, reading comprehension techniques, studying strategies, spelling, phonics and vocabulary. Additionally, we provide tutors who are specialized in teaching English as a Second Language. These programs include reading, writing, conversation, grammar and vocabulary. Tutors on Call also provides Homeschooling Programs and Programs for Athletes and Actors. These programs focus on teaching concepts, assisting with assignments and developing an academic plan. As a result, your child will be able to stay on top of their studies and achieve high marks. Test preparation can create a lot of anxiety. Tutors on Call has specialized tutors who provide Exam Preparation Programs for the SAT, SSAT, GED, MCAT, GRE, LSAT and ACT. Additionally, we have tutors who are specialized in teaching adults. This includes University and College Programs that assist with first and second year university courses in math, science, statistics, English, Spanish and history.
