East Coast Trades College offers the following trades programs:
- Automotive Service Technician - Motor Vehicle Body Repair and Paint - Heavy Equipment Service Technician - Truck & Transport Service Technician - Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Service Technician Do you prefer to learn with your hands with the most up to date equipment? If you answered yes, than our program layout is for you. 32 week Pre-employment Program After the first 3 weeks of essential skills training you will only attend classes 2 days per week the other 3 days you will be partnered right out in Industry learning all of your hands on training for 27 weeks. WOW what a way to gain experience! At the end of your 27 weeks all students return to classes for 2 full weeks of theory review to prepare you to write your Provincial Block I Exam with Apprenticeship and Certification your last day of class. In just a short time you can be graduated from a recognized program, have 27 weeks of hands on experience, wrote your block I exam and on your way to working in the trade. We are located in Fredericton, NB however; you have the opportunity to do your hands on training right on PEI and travel for class days if you wish. We are looking at the possible expansion to PEI depending on interest.
