My goal is to insure the happiness of my couples on their special day. I cherish each and every wedding, whether it be a lavish wedding or an intimate, personal one and I take pride in providing my couples with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as you begin such an important journey in your life. Your Officiant Carolyn Dawson is a resident of Sydney, Nova Scotia, and has been licensed as a Justice of the Peace and Commissioner of Oaths since 1997. Carolyn has had many years in the field of public speaking and brings to your wedding a wealth of experience in working with couples as they begin their journey as a newly married couple. Carolyn has also been an intricate part of the new Civil Wedding Transition Program in the Province of Nova Scotia. She is the lead Justice of the Peace for the Cape Breton area with regards to the formation, interview process and training of new Justices of the Peace for the Province. Carolyn has been happily married to her husband Jim for 44 years. Together they have raised two children who have now blessed them with five amazing grandchildren.
