Quiet, Clean and Comfortably Restful … We had come to enjoy KIRKLAND LAKE’S CENTENNIAL 2019 SUMMER HOMECOMING celebrations, driving up from Shelburne, Ontario. This was our second visit to the Gold Country Motel as we had enjoyed our stay there last year. Our party occupied two rooms and everyone agreed this was a great place to stay! Last year we thoroughly enjoyed the ATLANTIC COD FISH AND CHIPS dinners which they had cooked especially for us and then kindly brought the meals to our rooms since we had arrived late and hungry and the restaurant had already officially closed. The food was delicious! The rooms were pleasantly decorated with restful colours. The flat screen Satellite TV, microwave and small refrigerator worked flawlessly! The beds and “pillow top” mattresses gave each one of us a very restful and comfortable sleep for each of the two nights we stayed! We remembered similar experiences from our previous stay. I would not hesitate to recommend Bill and Jill. CONGRATS!
