I have over 18 years of legal practice experience, primarily in family and Employment Law.
I particularly enjoy complex property cases within or outside family law, especially trust claims involving real property or quantum meruit claims. In the last year, I litigated matters resulting in both tens of thousands of dollars and hundreds of thousands dollars in benefits for my clients. I have, for example, assisted construction workers get compensation when they performed free work for their ex-girlfriends on a house they helped repair but never owned. In Employment law, I assist non-unionized people who have been dismissed or terminated get compensation, often far more money than they expect to be paid I also help employees who are experiencing discrimination or harassment at work. I can assist people in setting aside employment contracts that might otherwise reduce compensation paid to fired employees. In family law, I am happy to provide consultation and representation on separation agreements, marriage contracts and prenuptial agreements. I go to court on property, custody, access, child and spousal support disputes. I also sue or defend cases of civil assault, battery, civil fraud, injurious falsehood and negligent misrepresentation, as well as improper holding of other people's property. I have been practicing law since 1998 and at a new location since September 2016
