OUR PHILOSOPHY: Here at Mommy's Daycare we believe that creating and providing a stimulating environment that meets the needs of each child in order for them to grow to their fullest capacity to which they are capable of achieving. We strive toward “inclusion” offering an integrated program for our Exceptional Children. We will strive to offer a program that is flexible to meet the developmental needs of the children with age appropriate curriculum and a curriculum sensitive to the capabilities of each child.
The staff at Mommy's Daycare will strive to help each child: -Feel confident and develop a positive self-image. -To develop independence and responsibility. -To learn to share, and be helpful to others. -To develop an awareness and respect for values and feelings. -To develop skills by providing thinking and problem-solving activities to instill a desire for learning. -To enhance their creativity and appreciation for aesthetic qualities and values. PROGRAMS OFFERED: We offer full and part-time programs for children from new-born right up to their 6th Birthday. Full-time programs run Monday-Friday. Part-time programs may consist of a minimum 2 to 3 days/week to a maximum of five days/week.. Part-time children may attend the morning or afternoon programs. Enrollment of children in our part-time programs will depend on space availability and be contingent upon coupling up with other part time children. We also provide a pre-school curricular program that will prepare your child for kindergarden. PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT: Each week at Mommy's Daycare will have a program designed by a Registered Early Childhood Educator which will be based on the "Theme of the Week". The Program will include activities in the following areas: Concept of the Day, Circle Time, Discovery Table, Arts And Crafts, Painting, Reading Readiness Skills, Math, Letter and Colours Concepts, Dramatic Play, Sensory Experiences, Music and Dance, and many more. The Programs and Weekly Themes will be accessible to all parents on our bulletin board.
