Mastery Learning Centre

Description

We offer personalized professional tutoring in all math skills from grades one to eleven, by a highly experienced Ontario-certified teacher, in a quiet, disciplined environment. We limit the number of students to no more than two high school students, or three elementary students. The student teacher ratio for grades one and two is 2:1, for grades three to eight: 3:1, and for grades nine to eleven: 2:1. We provide both a well-developed individualized program of math modules, depending on the student’s needs, as well as direct support for the math work he/she is doing currently in school. The Mastery Learning Centre was founded in 2001, and since then has served more than 700 students with significant, measureable improvements in their math skills and consequently in their performance in school.
