Algonquin North Horse Boarding

Algonquin North Horse Boarding is a horse boarding service that operates on a 500 acre working farm. We are the last farm located on Highway 630 which is the only paved access road to the famous Algonquin Provincial Park. We have 200 Acres of pasture, hay fields, 10 miles of trails and areas of forest fenced in. There are ponds and the beautiful Amable Du Fond River flowing through the property as well. We have an 8 paddock, 9 feet tall corral system, with 2 shelters and a riding ring which is connected to all fields and the barn. There is a stable and tack room, standing stalls and indoor common area for horses. There are Vets and Trainers on call within the area. We are in the process of adding a sheltered riding area for those that may wish to ride at any time. Also ready for the summer of 2013 will be Mongolian style Yurts for guest that travel with their horses. This accommodation will provide people with the opportunity to travel with their horses and have a unique, wilderness experience. Starting in May 2013 we are excepting boarders for our boarding services as well as horses that are in need of a retirement home. In addition to this we work closely with a local horse rescue effort by providing our farm as a foster home for horses that are looking to be re-homed.
