Dental hygiene clinics have been operating in Alberta since November 2006. Hygienists can now work without a dentist on-site.
When further treatment is required, independent dental hygienists will refer you to a dentist or specialist. For you, this means that there is increased appointment availability. You can have your teeth cleaned when it fits your schedule with less wait time. At Floss Dental Hygiene Care, no dentist referral is required to book an appointment. Same-day and walk-in appointments are also available! Floss Dental Hygiene Care provides the following services: • Oral hygiene appointments (scaling and root planing) • Dental hygiene examination • Digital radiographs (X-Rays) • Polishing • Fluoride • Teeth whitening • Sports mouthguards • Oral cancer screenings • Sealants • Invisalign – the invisible braces – provided by Dr. Tarek El-Bialy
