Hi I am an experienced teacher and mother of 3 grown children. I have many years of teaching and tutoring experience. I am a caring, responsible, dependable teacher with many strategies for helping your child succeed.
I am a graduate of Acadia University : Education Degree and a Sociology Defgree. I taught school for many years at all grade levels. I am a life-long learner and have attended numerous workshops to stay abreast of all the curriculum. I match my teaching style and strategies to your child's learning style. I can help with assignments students need to complete for school and/or work on material your child needs help with. Many times I use games to reinforce and practise the skill. I am currently employed as a teacher (part-time) with Elk Island School Division. I do not require prepayment and you do not have to book a predetermined number of sessions. First session is FREE. My rate is $40/hr. I look forward to hearing from you.
